Training Overview
GenesisFour does everything possible to assure that you and your staff are
able to transition over to your new shop management system as
quickly and painlessly as possible. GenesisFour trainers have
worked with the our applications in live situations extensively,
and are proficiency-certified by GenesisFour.
On Site Training
In shops where more than one key employee must achieve system
proficiency relatively quickly, on-site deployment is highly recommended
and generally necessary. On-site
training synchronizes the group so that everyone knows how to use
the system as it comes on line. Our experts work closely
with you in the comfort of your own environment, using your
system and your data.
Our experts all have personal, hands-on experience running,
in some cases actually own or have owned a shop running a
GenesisFour system, and/or actively participate in
industry-specific business management programs and 20 groups.

Telephone Training
Telephone training is viable when only one designated person is
to be trained and will be assuming responsibility for training
the other users. That person should have good computer sense and
be proficient in Windows. It is arranged in several sessions
according to a mutually agreeable schedule. The number of
sessions varies with modules purchased and retention level. After the initial telephone training is completed, many
are able to fly on their own, relying on the on-line help and
the help desk.
However, in some cases it may make sense to
purchase additional telephone training (for additional
personnel, to focus on specific areas of the system, or when
computer skills are weaker than average). Telephone training
relies heavily on the use of web conferencing, which in turn
requires a fast (cable or DSL) Internet connection.
