On Site Training - Curriculum

A brief, general, highly-compressed description of what takes place on each of the 5 consecutive training days (may vary considerably depending on individual circumstances and trainer's discretion):

Day 1:  "Prep Day"
(usually Friday)

  • General Overview - What it is that's about to happen here?

  • Final Hardware/Network Configuration Review - Is everything working properly (client PCs, printers, device sharing, backup systems, and so forth)*

  • QuickBooks Integration setup

  • Bookkeeper training

  • Final Trainee Identification and Qualification - Who will be trained on what? What are each trainees strengths, weaknesses, and concerns?

  • Preparation for Training - Explanation and preliminary review of the training syllabus with all trainees; agenda review for the next 4 days

*Important note: almost invariably, a certain amount of the first training day is spent finalizing software installation,  network, and printing issues. Do not expect a full day of training on the first day. However, the more ready you can have your network, the more training time you'll get out this day. QuickBooks should be installed before the trainer's arrival. Network preparation for all client-supplied equipment is your responsibility.
